Far East!

So I was ill prepared for a function held at my Husband’s home town over the weekend. I didn’t quite get enough time to make a white blouse to wear with my double wrapper (oh yeah! I have joined that league!) So here’s what I was able to assemble within the short time I had to prepare for the function. Frankly, I am beginning to dig this double wrapper thing (Without the traditional fancy blouse). I couldn't help but assume (in my head of course) that I rocked the look!

I really cannot begin to describe how much I have missed doing this! It's been difficult for me to visit this blog without feeling sad. I am always left with the feeling I have disappointed you all by not posting in a really long while. There is no tangible excuse I can give to you except that work has taken a great toll on me. You should see all the greys in my hair! Jeez! Well, I believe its better late than never. Thanks to you all who breezed by, dropped a note or called. I am reminded by your actions that there are people who find this blog fun/interesting!

Well, paired this lace top with this aged bronze skirt with velvet trim to church on Sunday and later to lunch with one of my besties who came into town. #funday!

It's been a while.....again!

Hey it’s been a minute!

Ok… it’s been forever and a day! So sorry I have been MIA. I have been out of inspiration and a bit on the down side to be honest. Work has really been stressful for almost a month now

Hello!

What’s been happening with me you ask?

Not much except for work. I spent twenty-three days out of thirty September days offshore. I don't know how best to describe it other than it being a totally wuss experience! I actually felt like quitting my job at a time but I guess loads of people feel the same way at some point in their lives. Despite the stress, I think I put on like 3pounds (Ok may 5pounds #Coversface!) it was hard to comprehend how I could be so stressed out and still indulge in food (A lot of it!)

I am so glad I am back!

Had a lovely independence lunch on the rig before heading back to town. Got in like 3:30pm and I decided to not to miss out on the whole day so I headed out to AKPOS OKUDU’s Independence Day shopping party!

Sunday, New in, Shaggy Hair!

Few weeks back, while window shopping at Mango (The Palms, Lagos) I saw this lovely neon bag that kind of looked like the Weresle neon bag(here) designed for Mango Touch. It looked pretty much like it but wasn't quite it. Anyways, I fell heads over heels in love with it immediately! The only problem that stood between us at that moment was MONEY! I was on living on an already exceeded budget!

Fast forward to last week! I was busy working when I got a call from my hubby, asking if there was anything in particular I wanted from Mango. (Miracles do happen!) Of course I told him to get the bag first!...then every other thing! Hahahaha! You can guess...I didn't get everything. Just the bag and a few goodies (#ThanxHun!)

Fast forward again today! I'm rocking it to church!
